Delivery Systems: Micronizing Pumps and Emulsifiers.

Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) used extensively in the power generation and shipping is a high energy but “dirty” fuel. XT2200 is the tailored conditioner for HFO.   Optimizing the effectiveness of XT2200 requires specialized blending to ensure the chemical integration of the conditioner and the fuel.  XT micronizing pumps act as homogenizers in breaking down the HFO structure to allow thorough blending in of the XT2200 formulation.

This thorough blending is critical to the effectiveness. These installations, as with all others, require a detailed survey of each individual application as the basis for a customized XT program. A program which will guaranteed minimum efficiency and emission reduction parameters.

Emulsification: This is a well-known, long-hoped-for technology which has consistently delivered disappointments in many arenas and applications.

Sound science, bad execution.

Emulsification in the energy field, simply stated, is the process of “inserting” water into fuel. The purpose is to “lighten” the fuel with an element which is far more easily vaporized, therefore, dramatically enhancing the explosion of the energy component of the treated fuel. The genie is now out of the box. All the past failures have not been due to fuel, or emulsifiers, or engines, or technologies, or operators – they have been due to the water. The water was not  able to fulfill its roll because it was not functional.  The XT program brings functional water into the equation and, with it  - fuel efficiency improvements of 20- 30- 40 %.

This solution is offered for large engine applications such as power-generation.

The Large Cat , micronizer and emulsification programs are offered on a per-gallon royalty basis with full monitoring, service and replacement.
