has been and continues to be Xtendercorp’s mantra. The initial was reduction of carbon fuel pollution and improved hydro-carbon fuel efficiency. However, developments in demand, supply and costs of hydro-carbon fuels quickly expanded the Company’s horizons. We are continuously assessing the world-wide explosion of research and development of alternatives for synergies. Potential opportunities are being sought out and assessed, measured and evaluated against that “Driving A Greener Environment” standard.
Xtendercorp’s continued researching of industry developments and its interaction with industry representatives has resulted in a recognition of the Company’s commitment to fuel efficiency and positive environmental impact. This recognition has resulted in very fortunate offers of participation in several impressive, highly synergistic technologies. Four of these opportunities are in the process of being incorporated into the Xtendercorp program.
FUEL CONDITIONER customized for BIOFUEL
Biofuels are becoming increasingly recognized as a significant alternative fuel source. US production for 2009 is projected at 11 billion gallons growing to over 15 billion by 2012.s
Of the biofuels, starch based feed-stocks have been proven unviable. The combination of feed-stock cost escalation,(and resultant increased human food costs), combined with the high cost of processing, have virtually eliminated this approach. HOWEVER, process wastes including poultry, pork, beef, fish processing wastes are energy-rich and highly viable.
XTENDERCORP has been approached by a break-through waste product bio-extraction technology, to supply a customized additive to optimize the efficacy of this process stream. This development work is under way. This new formulation represents an immediate opportunity, with a long life-cycle, due to the projected expansion of this fuel-source technology.
BIOFUEL FEEDSTOCK EXTRACTION SYSTEM
Xtendercorp has been granted rights to represent the breakthrough extraction technology, creating a highly desirable “cross-sell” opportunity and a major new captive market opportunity for the Xtender line of conditioners.
HFO EMULSION SYSTEM (Emulsion of HFO - HEAVY FUEL OIL–bunker)
EMULSION of fuels, particularly HFOs (Heavy Fuel Oil) has been pursued for many years. Numerous processes have consistently shown promise. They have consistently failed to meet commercial requirements. A recent Japanese break-through has finally overcome the critical issue of consistency.
A verification demo with a major Caribbean aluminum producer has been scheduled. Positive results from this high-profile demonstration will have world-wide implications for HFO intensive operations including power-generation, cement production, ocean-going shipping and cruising. Xtendercorp has been offered representation rights as well as customized conditioner supply opportunity.
SUPER LUBRICANT
A privately developed oil additive has been offered to Xtendercorp for distribution. Third-party laboratory testing of this product is to be completed shortly. The product is added, in very small ratios, to gear-boxes, transmissions, differentials. In field trials the addition of one ounce per quart into the oil in transport tuck transmissions and differentials resulted in a 3% improvement in fuel efficiency. Wear from friction is projected to be reduced by 75%. Xtendercorp views this as purely an “add-on” sale for its conditioner customers - not a separate marketing initiative.
